THE B&B NILO32

The recently restored Nilo 32 Bed & Breakfast welcomes you with its relaxing atmosphere and warm hospitality. It’s situated in the historical centre of Naples, within the Decumani itineraries of VI century B.C. Greek heritage, where you can find the Sansevero Chapel, San Domenico Maggiore Square and San Gregorio Armeno, famous for its characteristic workshops from where the typical Neapolitan Nativity scenes and its handmade figurines have spread all over the world.

Nilo 32 - B&B

The palace where the Nilo 32 B&B is located lays its origin in the XV century and belonged to the Duke of Laurino. Its main entrance was in Via Nilo 32 from which the B&B’s name derives. On 4 Aug 1943 during a heavy bombardment by the Allied forces, it was hit by a bomb and almost destroyed by the fire which followed. Successively it was rebuilt and restored with part of the bomb debris.

Its entrance, however, was placed in Via F. De Sanctis 3 as it stands now.

The Rooms

Nilo 32 differs from the typical B&Bs by offering not just a comfortable sleep and breakfast facility: it’s a place whose atmosphere invites you to stay longer; a place where to live and enjoy unique moments; the ideal accommodation for those travelers looking for suitable conditions of work and relaxation having at their disposal all required technical instruments and, at the same time, being surrounded by a particularly inspiring environment with its contradictions and colours. B&B Nilo 32 comprises of two double rooms, one triple room with an ample balcony, and a large living room. The rooms are spacious, airy, and bright. They were recently refurbished in a fresh contemporary style and have en suite bathrooms and full central heating. All the rooms at Nilo 32 B&B have a daily maid service which ensures a high standard of cleanliness. All rooms have free wireless internet connection. Each room is provided with a hot water pot and whatever is needed to make a good cup of tea to be enjoyed in the comforts of your room.

The Living Area

This room is the B&B space where guests can share the opportunity to socialize.
Breakfast includes an ample choice of products. In addition, at the disposal of our guests, we have created a small kitchenette where it’s possible to heat up food. You will find a coffee machine, a hot water pot and a choice of other most common appliances.
The whole area has a Wi-Fi connection.
In the living space you will also find an ample choice of newspapers, magazines, tourist guides, art exhibitions and cultural events programmed in the Naples area.
This large living room will eventually be utilized as an exhibition gallery for well or less known artists.

Where Are We

B&B Nilo 32 is situated in Via De Sanctis n. 3in the centre of Naples, and just a few steps from the Stock Exchange (Borsa), the harbour and the most important shopping streets. It’s located a few steps from the Maschio Angioino Castle, the Beverello Pier where you can book tickets to reach the islands of Capri, Ischia and Procida, and take boat trips around the Gulf of Naples.

You can easily reach Piazza del Plebiscito, the Royal Palace, San Carlo Opera Theatre, the Umberto I Gallery. The shopping area of Toledo and Chiaia is also nearby. Distances from and to places of interest are:

I vicoli di Napoli del centro storico sono un reticolo di centinaia di viuzze tutte da scoprire. Immergetevi nelle stradine, confondetevi ai turisti, agli studenti e alle persone del luogo. Scoprite i vicoli e i tanti scorci che offrono, scorgete gli interni dei palazzi, entrate nelle botteghe e nei negozi tipici, parlate con gli abitanti, gustate una pizza e le innumerevoli golosità dello street food che la cucina napoletana offre. Passeggiate per le botteghe e i negozi di belle arti di Via Costantinopoli e Piazza Bellini e affacciatevi nel chiostro del Conservatorio di San Pietro a Majella da dove udirete musiche e canti degli allievi durante le ore di lezione.
